Carolyn Vogel, Vice President of Programs
Carolyn
Gibb Vogel, MPH is
Vice President for Programs and director of The Center @ PAI. She
is responsible for bringing ideas to action in a project incubation process for
PAI and facilitates all aspects of coordinated work. Prior to this she was a
Senior Research Associate and Acting Director of the Research Department at PAI
where her work focused on reproductive health supplies, population and the
environment and donor financing. She served as the project manager for the
Supply Initiative from 2004-2007, including management of the Supply
Initiative’s Brussels Office. She is active in the Reproductive Health Supplies
Coalition, and works with PAI’s network of research and advocacy organizations
on the supply issue. Publications include reports and articles on the
reproductive health supply issue, population assistance and population and the
environment. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a masters
degree in public health from Columbia University. Prior to joining PAI, she
worked in program management and evaluation of USAID-funded family planning
programs, working with projects in many countries including Zimbabwe, Kenya,
Turkey, Russia and Jordan. She also attended the University of Dakar in Senegal
and served as a Peace Corps Nutrition Volunteer in Niger.
