Connie Kaldor, Development Associate

Having worked with PAI for 1½ years, Connie is charged with supporting and expanding foundation funding, advancing select new initiatives, and overseeing production of our Annual Report and end-of-year direct mail appeal.  Working in D.C.’s non-profit sector over the past decade, her prior experience includes serving as the Manager of Institutional Giving for Potomac Conservancy, and as the Foundation Grants Manager of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington (PPMW) responsible for managing and composing all major donor renewals and serving as the primary copywriter for their direct mail campaign.  Before then, she worked with the New Israel Fund (NIF), in support of the Fund’s Associate Director and Director, providing a comprehensive range of Major Gift program activities and administration.  She began her career in D.C.’s non-profit sector with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), where she was the Membership and Meetings Coordinator.  A native of Annapolis, Connie spent several years in California, working in public relations and marketing, before returning to the D.C. metro area.  During this transition, she took advantage of an opportunity to live and work in Brazil, where she spent six months teaching English.  Connie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Towson State University, Towson, Maryland.
