Kaja Jurczynska joined PAI as a Research Associate in January 2012 and is primarily investigating the interrelationships between population dynamics and environmental, socioeconomic, and political processes. Originally from Poland, Kaja came to PAI as the Climate Project Intern in 2011. During this time she researched fertility trends, socioeconomic correlates, and population projection methodologies. Prior to joining PAI, Kaja worked at GlobalGiving as the Development Assistant Intern, where she partnered with the President to manage the pipeline of operating support. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, earning her MSc in Population and Development.
