Sarah Humphries, Vice President of Development

Sarah Humphries comes to PAI with 18 years of professional development experience. During that time she has worked extensively in the environmental community, running a statewide river conservation organization in Seattle and directing fundraising programs for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Grist Magazine and Defenders of Wildlife. For the past three years, she ran the development program at NARAL Pro-Choice America, raising over $45 million dollars for the reproductive rights organization and overseeing a staff of 13. She has deep experience in all aspects of relationship-based fundraising, such as membership, events and foundations, but she has particular expertise in major gifts and board development. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband.
